Freemake Music Box is a program that allows you to play audio files. In addition, it helps you search and stream the songs you want to listen.
The application comes with a modern and neat interface. The main window is nicely split in two parts: the left side contains the playlist, while the right area shows the search results of the audio tracks you looked for. You can add to the playlist online songs, as well as audio files stored in your computer. The tool supports vaious audio formats: .mp3, .wma, .aac, .ogg, .mp4, .m4a, .flac, etc. A nice thing is that you can create as many playlists as you want.
To search for specific online tracks is an easy thing to do: you just type the artist’s name or the song’s title and, within a couple of seconds, the application displays the search results together with some information about the artist, the album, and the songs' length. What's more, you can filter the search results according to the above mentioned criteria. However, I personally would rather see an equalizer that would give me an ability to adjust the loudness of specific frequencies.
In conclusion, this is a good working application that does what the developers promise it will: it is an audio player that finds tracks and plays them. It’s easy to use and it doesn’t come with useless options.
